Introduction
European University of Bangladesh (EUB) is a third generation private university aiming at dissemination of modern education of European standard in Bangladesh. It has been approved by the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh and the University Grants Commission (UGC). It was established under the Private University Act, 2010 and duly approved by the Government of Bangladesh on 14 March, 2012 for awarding degrees in various disciplines. In pursuance of the overall mission, objective and goal of the EUB as many as nine Departments are offering degree prorammes. EUB has by now earned high reputation in the field of Engineering education and each year a good number of graduates are coming out with B. Sc. in Engineering Degrees from Civil, EEE, Textile and CSE departments. Most of these graduates are employed in various management positions of Engineering profession, such as, Asst. Engineer, Executive Engineer, Superintending Engineer, Engineering Manager, Real Estate Manager, Power Station Manager etc. To carry out their jobs properly these graduate Engineers require managerial knowledge & skills. In keeping with these special requirements, the Department of Business Administration has decided to introduce a new Masters’ degree programme entitled MBA in Engineering Management suited to the needs of the present world in general and Bangladesh in particular. The major thrust of the new programme is to provide quality education in this field.

While some people might be used to doing a great job for an engineering company, managers must have the strong conceptual foundation and the managerial capabilities to perform a good job. Earning a Master of Business Administration degree in Engineering Management can give you the tools you need to succeed in leading the others in your engineering department and highly Technology Company.

What is an MBA in Engineering Management? This degree seeks to prepare graduates for senior management positions in the manufacturing or engineering industry. While focusing on core concepts related to business and management, students also examine manufacturing strategies, supply chain management and technology. Programmes last for two years for the graduates in any of the engineering subjects, e.g. Civil, EEE, Textiles, CSE, IPE and so on.

MBA in Engineering Management (MEM)
MBA is a 2 Yrs Programme. Total credit hours is 63.  These credits are divided into First Year and Second Year. Each year is divided into three semesters.
