EUB Launches Its First Ever “EUB News Bulletin”

Dhaka, October 19, 2025:

A new chapter has begun in the history of European University of Bangladesh (EUB) with the publication of its very first “EUB News Bulletin.” This milestone aims to highlight the university’s commitment to enhancing educational quality, fostering creative initiatives, and strengthening student-faculty engagement.

The initiative was driven by the active guidance and inspiration of the university’s Acting Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Md. Ghulam Murtaza, who ensured that the bulletin was published within a short timeframe. On October 19, 2025, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Mr. Ahmed Farhad Khan, officially unveiled the first issue in a graceful ceremony.

The event was attended by deans, department heads, faculty members, staff, and students from across the university. Speakers highlighted that such a publication would not only showcase university activities but also serve as a source of inspiration and learning for future generations.

The EUB News Bulletin Committee worked diligently to complete this publication in a very short period. The bulletin was compiled with the contributions of 12 faculty focal persons from 12 departments, who documented their departments’ activities, achievements, and future plans. Their coordination and guidance were supported by the Student Welfare Advisor & Focal Person, Md. Imdadul Haque, and the Member-Secretary of the Committee, Assistant Professor Masum Billah Patwary from the Department of Economics.

After the unveiling, the faculty focal persons, the Focal Person, and the Member-Secretary met with the Acting Vice Chancellor, who extended his sincere congratulations and offered valuable guidance for future editions of the bulletin.

The release of the first issue of the EUB News Bulletin marks a significant milestone for the university. It is expected to strengthen the continuity of EUB’s achievements and further encourage students’ participation in academic, cultural, and research activities. Through this publication, every member of the university community is inspired to move forward with renewed energy and enthusiasm.
